1. Shorter timeframe: Three hours, first Saturday in June. Less production, way more presence.

2. Vendor model: We're keeping it small and artist-focused. A limited number of spaces will be available for local artists and community groups doing non-sales outreach. If that's you, share your interest with us here and we'll follow up.

3. Entertainment: Local talent will be part of the day, not the whole day. Think acoustic sets, drag pop-ups, and open space for spontaneous joy. Want to perform? Tell us!

4. The vibe: Bring a blanket. Bring lunch, games, friends, chosen family, kiddos, and pets! We're inviting everyone to self-organize picnics and play. No big stage schedule to chase, just time together in the park.

5. Food and drink: We'll have a few local food carts. We're pausing the beverage garden this year to keep costs and complexity down.

Yes, it's absolutely free to attend Summer Pride! Bend Summer Pride is a free, open community gathering. Come as you are.

We are keeping it small and artist-focused.

Bend Summer Pride 2026 is intentionally building a limited vendor village that centers local makers and community care over commercial sales. We will offer a small number of spaces, with priority given to two groups:

1. Central Oregon artists selling handmade, original work

2. 2SLGBTQIA+ community groups, nonprofits, and mutual aid projects doing non-sales outreach and free resource sharing

This is not the right fit for mass-produced resale, direct sales companies, imported wholesale goods, or large commercial retailers.

Drake Park has street parking nearby along the river, and Bend is very bikeable! We encourage walking, biking, or carpooling when possible.

We're an outdoor event, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast and dress in layers. We'll share any updates on our social channels closer to the date.

We need help with two big pieces!

1. Youth Area organizers: We're looking for people, collectives, or orgs to co-create the youth space. Think bracelet making, art tables, lawn games, and a lot of love. If you want to lead or collaborate, reach out and we'll connect the team.

2. Day-of volunteers: This is lighter than past years. No 8-hour shifts. It's an "all hands on deck" model: someone needs a hand, we help. If you're in, sign up!

Yes, absolutely! Dogs are welcome in Drake Park, but it's super important to remember that they must be on a leash no longer than 15 feet at all times within city limits, which includes Drake Park. This helps ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

• What are my responsibilities as a dog owner in the park? Being a responsible dog owner means ensuring your furry friend's actions don't impact others. This includes:

• Maintaining control of your dog with a physical leash.

• Promptly picking up and properly disposing of all animal waste in designated receptacles. Please don't leave bags of waste behind for someone else to deal with.

• Not allowing your dog to harass, threaten, injure, or fight with other people or animals.

• Ensuring your dog is licensed and vaccinated according to state and county law.

• No pet selling or adoption may take place.

• Yes, to ensure everyone has a peaceful and safe experience, per Bend Park and Rec guidelines:

• Always use the park respectfully, following all posted signs and staff directives.

• Be mindful of others and avoid behavior that could disturb, disrupt, harass, or endanger anyone.

• No smoking or using inhalant delivery systems.

• Open flames, including charcoal barbecues, are prohibited. Portable propane camp stoves and gas barbecues are permitted if used safely.

• Sleeping overnight or setting up a campsite is not allowed.
